A domain is an internet address (www.domain.com) used as a shortcut to your servers IP address. It makes your site easier to remember and navigate to. Without a domain you would have to type in a series of numbers everytime you wanted to access your website.!
Hosting is access to a server where you can store all your files that will be accessed when people view your website. Everytime a file is accessed, it is downloaded from the host server, using a small amount of bandwidth.
This is the most common question we get. We recognize that small business owners are on a tight budget, and are always trying to save money whenever possible. Because each business owner is in a unique position, we don’t charge one flat rate. As we discover more about your company and your needs, we will arrive at a price and a plan that will fit your budget and cover all of your needs.
We will need access to your server (if you don't have one we will assist you in setting one up), as well as a project plan which we will come up with together.
Because we see you as a partner in this process, we’d like you to be involved as much as possible. That being said, we want your input. Our first step will be a discovery session with your business, where you provide us with as much information as possible about your company and your customers. Once we begin working, we’ll ask for your feedback on the work. Also, once we begin development, we’ll ask for any artwork that you have (e.g. your logo, photos of your product or place of business, samples etc…)
Our project plans include many details about your site including the number of pages, names of pages, content for pages, goals for the website, and online marketing you will require to be successful online.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer custom-tailored solutions for your business very quickly. In general, the complexity or depth of the project will dictate how long it takes. Typically, we like to offer first drafts within 1-2 weeks. Again, because we want to make your life easier, if you have time constraints or deadlines, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to get you what you need by when you need it.
We’re always looking for ways to make our relationship with you a little better. We’ve added our Cleints Only section as a tool for you to use as we move along. In you secure client area, you will find the following:
Again, because we strive to be one less thing for the small-business owner to have to worry about, we’ve developed several easy and convenient payment methods and plans.
